Exploring The Realm of Imagination

How it all began

The artwork you are about to see, came to me through many years of perseverance and hard work. When I was growing up, I used to collect comic books by the hundreds. A useless hobby you may think, but it wasn't so for me. By careful study, I was able to create my own characters, scenes and stories from the books I read. I spent many long hours practicing how to draw the anatomy of the comic book characters I saw, and this soon lead to my being able to draw human figures on my own. I also studied the fantasy scenes that were penned, within each new issue. So by getting ideas that way, and by reading many books about Norse and Greek mythology, I simply used my imagination to draw my own fantasy settings to go with the characters I created. The wonderful tales I read within those books, about gods and goddesses, mighty heros, and fearsome monsters and the language that was used to describe them, planted the seeds of poetic wisdom, deep within the fertile soil of my young mind, which later led to my blossoming into a writer. Then, during my middle and high school years, I took many writing and art courses, which eventually allowed me to hone my emerging style with the pen. It may sound like it was easy, but it wasn't, let me assure you. It took many days of spending time alone in my room, giving up hanging out with my friends, and constantly practicing to get where I am now. But please, don't just take my word for it, you will see what I mean as you make your way through this site I have created. I sincerely hope you like what you find here.

Peace.
